Faith Over Fear has become a popular mantra for many believers. I rarely see a verse connected to it though. I asked my son what his favorite Bible verse is, not fishing for a Faith Over Fear reference, and without hesitation he replied, Joshua 1:9. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
